I admitted last week that I'd gained weight, rather than lost it, so my weigh in last week was 188.5 pounds (ugh!). Today, my weigh in was 187.5 pounds, so I'm down one lousy pound, but at least it's down, not up.
I'd post pictures, but I can't find my camera cord. Once I do, we'll be back in business.
I took Monday off of work and went to see my girl (again, pictures stuck in camera). I'll post the whole long story in a couple of days, but the short story is that I walked all over hill and dale for an hour tracking her down and then spent another thirty minutes grooming her. Guess that counts as a workout, right?
Haven't made it to the gym yet, but I'm still working my gawdawful long hours; today was a "short" day at nine hours. Next week, my schedule drastically changes for the better and I'll be able to schedule gym hours. Gotta keep that scale moving in the right direction!

There you go. It ONLY ever happens one at a time, you know. . .rock on, lady!
We walked another hill today and brought Brownie out. I wish I could lose a pound for every hour we walk down the horses! Hang in there. Workin' on the shed should be a help, too. At least I hope your horse likes it. Ida put the two babies in with Estes & crew; said they were having a ball. Also said Estes et al were a pain to catch for her when she moved them to this pasture. Makes me feel a lot better. LOL.
Love ya,
Mom
There will be a really neat HorseMaster episode coming early May about how to catch a runaway horse. :)
*snort*
ugh--- once my back went "crunch", I too have lost condition and gained "jiggle". Diva, I Iz Dizgusted. (With myself that is.)
Gotta get better from here right?
YAY on going DOWN which is the right directions...LOL
wait...i just read that again and it could be read in an adult innuendo manner but oh well I'm leaving it anyway cuz I didn't mean anything nasty even if it sounds that way.
Girl, losing a pound in a week is great! I've been struggling with trying to lose 10 pounds for about 2 years. It doesn't matter what I do, it won't come off. You bet the hike over hill and dale and grooming the horsie counts as exercise! Oh yeah it does!
I have an award for you at my place Dear!
came by from The good the bad and the worse. I too live in the country so I knwo the feeling of kids and animals and land.. although I prefer my dogs and cats and bunnies to horses lol. Though I love horses, just don't have the land for them
The idea of going to the gym makes my ass twitch.
I applaud you for even attempting it and congratulations on the small but significant loss!
Hey, a loss is a loss. Don't knock it.
Btw, I got my book in the mail! Can't wait to read it. I just started another one though so I have to finish that first. I'll post a review when I'm done with yours. Thanks again. :)
Hope you have a good weekend.
Going down is GOOD!! Congrats!
