Breaking Habits

The hardest habit I'm finding to break is how I order food.  For example, whenever I run through a fast-food place, I know that a kids' meal will fill me up, but I can't seem to wrap my brain around the fact that a kids' meal will fill me up and I end up ordering a "grown up" meal.

That I never finish.

Gotta stop that and build a new habit.

At least you don't finish it...if I order it, I tend to finish it, even though I'm full half way through it, but only fast food, at a restaurant, I put my napkin in my plate so they take it away.

I would totally order the kids meal, but I usually like something besides a plain burger. At sonic, I've been ordering the .99 jr deluxe burger and adding bacon. Not the healthiest choice, but still a way better option than the big ole bacon cheese burger. that I finish. every time.

The toys are worth it :)

Me too! I never eat my fries! They're usually too greasy and too salty anyways. I've taken to just ordering a sandwich and a drink. If I want fries, I snag a couple of BP's or the kids. After all, I will STILL only eat about 5 fries anyways.

I almost always order a kids meal at fast food restaurants and hang on to the toys as "rewards" for my high school students. They get a kick out of it. I also try to at restaurants but sometimes they don't believe I'm 12 or under and won't play along. Bastards.
