Oh My!

I love my blog friends, I really do.

I mean, from who (whom?) else are you going to receive a present like this...

Yes, I have a friend with mad crocheting skills.  You might know her as Crazy Texas Mommy, but I might start calling her Peni Peddler.  As much as my lipstick holder made me giggle, I was really happy when I when I realized the lip balm inside was Nipple Nibbler.

Why would I be so happy about the lip balm?  Because I've kept a jar of a similar product in my work drawer for years that I used as lip stuff.  To find that it's packaged as a respectable tube of lip balm made me very happy.

And since my present made me giggle, I *had* to share it with my co-workers, who dared me to leave it in plain view on my desk all day, just to see what the guys would say.  They didn't even notice.  Until I picked it up to show to another female co-worker.  I realized then that I really needed to dust my desk, as the back of my lipstick holder was covered in dust.  So I began trying to rub it off...

It was at that exact moment that a male co-worker decided to walk by and notice that I was intently rubbing the head of a crocheted penis.

Yep, that's my life.

RCC's At It Again

Ripley got another present from RCC.  It's been a while since she's gotten any presents.

This morning RCC hopped out of bed and started working.  When he told me his plan to paint the interior trim I was a bit hesitant, but so far everything he's planned for Ripley has worked out beautifully.

Before trim painting.
(The gear shift boot cover was the first thing RCC bought Ripley)

Alien green, just like her body color

Re-installed,
I can't get over how great it looks.

The paint even has the same flecks as the body paint.
I love this trim!

RCC has a new console cover on order from the lady who made the gear shift boot and then we'll begin modifying the console to be able to holster my 1911.  I like the idea of being able to have my gun with me, in the car, easily accessible, yet concealed.  Plenty of updates coming up!
